Personality characteristics of successful traders

来源:经济日报-中国经济网 January 07, 2020 15:06 Source: Economic Daily-China Economic Net

There are many examples of successful transactions around me, and what I mean by success has nothing to do with how much money they have. Some people, even if it is only 100,000 yuan, are already very stable. They can earn one to two thousand yuan or two to three thousand yuan from this market every day. He is also a small crocodile, but he will soon become a big crocodile. The common characteristics of these successful people are as follows.

Gentle

What is mild? Don't raise the bar. I can do anything if I can raise the bar. You can take a look. On the Internet, as long as it is scolded with fans, it is basically nonsense. You can't even tolerate other people's different opinions and evaluations of you. How can you accept the market's evaluation of you?

The evaluation of the market can never be calm, as you wish. When you are bullish, the market will fall immediately and you will slap yourself; when you are short, the market will rise again and slap you again. What can you do? This place treats all kinds of dissatisfaction and mildness, and it will split you in three days.

Modest

When we meet in private now, we talk about the market and opinions, but we never talk about the position, or the direction of the position, but only how to look at it. For example, "What do you think of the US dollar", "I think it may be consolidating." No one says direction, and won't ask what position you are doing now.

We will only ask: Do you think there is any chance now? Such words may be a little more. No one will ever directly ask you what position, it is useless to say. Because that's the opinion of others, how do you use it?

My own experience is: I think all people's views are in a way to find his loopholes, and will figure it out in my heart. In reality, I can't do this. In this case, the aggressiveness will be too strong, and others will not be willing to communicate with me. For example, someone said a lot of words, then I would think in my heart: Are there any logical problems or loopholes in the words he said?

I will try to ask him my own question. If his answer is OK, then I think this logic is correct. Any point of view you accept should be like this: When you see a point of view, you must first ask, where is its logic, or where do you summarize its logic.

Is there a loophole in this logic? If there is a loophole, you can ask him and see how he answers. I am particularly happy to communicate my logical problems, which is why I like to post some posts with my opinion on the snowball. Why would I do this?

Because when I put out the logic and perspective, if someone can come to communicate with me and find a certain mistake in my logic, maybe I will avoid losing a lot of money. If I post a message on the Internet, a lot of people attack me, but all of their attacks have no meaning at all. If I can't convince me at all, I will double my position by turning my head, because

Believe that I will make a lot of money. And this experience is not missed. I threw out a point of view, there were many voices of opposition, and many voices of support. This is the happiest time for me, because only such a point of view has the value of discussion.

3. Poor aggressiveness

People who do well in trading usually have a mantra: "What you say makes sense", "It makes sense". At least two of the 10 sentences are like this. Most traders are more meticulous in observing things and are particularly sensitive to the identification of lies.

When you say two words, he immediately knows whether you are exaggerating or bragging. A friend I know, who all knows in the industry, is worth more than one billion yuan and says that he is a student every day. When he went to a meeting with the futures company, he pulled a young man into the industry and said, "What do you think of this market?"

Why? People are like this. There is no aggression. Even if there is a logical problem in hearing what you say, it will be calmly expressed to you.

Conclusion:

We have analyzed that different types of people are suitable for different trading methods, but it is not that your personality determines your trading method.

Personality also has innate and acquired characteristics. Such as optimism and pessimism, introversion and extroversion, entanglement and simplicity, these innate personalities are difficult to change.

However, the acquired personality characteristics can be shaped. For example, after a transaction error occurs, whether the recovery is fast or slow, facing loss and profit, knowing to give up, and then not complaining, being gentle, being honest, etc. Efforts to improve.

The shaping of trading character is a very difficult process, but in the process of trading, it is necessary.

You have to do this step. If you don't shape your trading personality and don't let your trading personality match your trading habits and methods, you will never succeed.
